Authentisches am authentischen Ort Früher war der Rammelsberg in Goslar eine der größten und ergiebigsten Erzlagerstätten der Welt. Mehr als 1.000 Jahre lang wurde hier Bergbau betrieben. Heute gibt das "Besucherbergwerk und Bergbaumuseum DER RAMMELSBERG" Einblick in den Bergbau und seine Auswirkungen auf Mensch und Umwelt. Weiträumige Ausstellungen und Führungen hinab in die Stollen und durch die riesigen technischen Anlagen stehen auf dem Besuchsprogramm. Authentic objects at the authentic location
 The Rammel Mountain in Goslar used to be one of the largest and most productive ore deposits in the world. Mining went on here for over a 1,000 years. Today, the "DER RAMMELSBERG Tourist Mine and Mine Museum" provides insights into mining and its repercussions on people and the environment. Spacious exhibitions as well as guided tours down to the coal face and through the gigantic technical installations are some of the highlights on the visitor's programme. The focus is on the concept of "the authentic object at the authentic location". "This place looks exactly like it did on the day work was discontinued on 30th June 1988," underscored the museum manager.
